Colleen Creamer Colleen Creamer

Colleen began her dance training at Lyn’s Academy of Dance in Elida and The Dance Centre in Wapakoneta. She holds a degree in dance performance / choreography from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. She has danced with Michigan’s only tap and jazz company, InSync Dance Theater with whom she performed in Chicago Tap Theater’s “Tidings of Tap” as a guest artist.

Miss Colleen is currently dancing professionally with Seven Dance Company, a contemporary company out of Columbus, Ohio. Colleen enjoys teaching dancers of all ages. She has worked as director of dance camps at Miami Valley School in Dayton, Ohio and as an instructor-counselor with American Dance Training Camps at resort locations throughout the nation.

Crista ScheidlerCrista Scheidler

Crista Scheidler is an energetic and creative dance instructor with an impressive dance background. Miss Crista began her dance training at 3 years old and quickly developed a strong love for the art of dance. She has taught competition dance classes since 2001. She has an extensive background in competition dance performance and choreography,. Her dance training includes jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, ballet and modern dance. . After graduating from Lima Central Catholic High School, Crista went on to dance in two shows at Kings Island in Cincinnati, Ohio. Crista is a 2006 graduate from The Ohio State Beauty Academy and currently also works as a cosmetologist.

Lyn MulcahyLyn Mulcahy

Lyn Mulcahy began her early dance training at Barbara Lynne's School of Dance in Elida. She went on to further her education by receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in dance education and minor in physical education from Bowling Green State University. While at Bowling Green she was a four year company member of the University Performing Dancers and also an instructor for Bowling Green State University in the children’ programs and director of dance for the Bowling Green City Parks. Miss Lyn twice attended Harvard Summer Dance Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has choreographed for many local events including Allen County Junior Miss program and rehearsal instructor for the Great Russian Nutcracker and Dayton Ballet Nutcracker. She is a member of the Professional Dance Teachers of America, Ohio Dance and National Dance Association. Lyn keeps very busy with her four young daughters.

Liz CozadLiz Cozad

Liz Cozad is celebrating her 11th year with Lyn’s Academy of Dance.  After graduating Wright State University with a bachelor degree in dance performance, she began her career teaching at Lyn’s Academy of Dance and with Dayton Ballet’s professional school.  While at Wright State University she also trained with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and numerous faculty from Dayton’s major dance companies.  She now extends her education through various conventions and is a regular at Broadway Dance Center in New York City every summer.  Liz is entering her 7th summer with Lake Bryn Mawr Camp, America’s premier sleep away camp for girls.  She is director of dance at Bryn Mawr and invites you to check out her home away from home at campbrynmawr.com. 

Gillian Kales Gillian Kales

Gillian Kales is a former Lyn’s Academy of Dance dancer and a third year member of our teaching staff. Miss Gillian is an excellent dance instructor for dancers of all ages! She has recently studied at numerous workshops and conventions to further her dance education. Gillian is a very talented choreographer and teacher.
